Raygun Gothic Rocket
I went back out the day before Thanksgiving to take another shot of “the rocket.” It’s basically the same shot just with a “real camera.” I actually liked the look Instagram gave the image so I gave this version a similar treatment. This was shot digitally but I shot some 6×7 film as well but I haven’t had the film developed yet. So in the end I’ll have three different versions of the same shot.
Rocket
At some point this summer I noticed this rocket ship while on a run down the embarcadero in San Francisco. I’ve been running by it all summer and just about every time I’ve passed by it I’ve thought about how I’d like to take a picture of it. Last night on my run I took a quick shot with my iPhone and weather permitting I think I’ll finally head back with a real camera this week.

I swore I wasn’t going to jump on the bandwagon of posting iPhone photos processed with the oh-so-cool retro processing applications (which admittedly, I do occasionally like the look of). But before replacing a defective iPhone I was going through some snapshots on my phone and really liked this shot of my friend Kellie on her birthday at Dolores Park in San Francisco. But, I do still prefer the real thing.
Montana Panorama
I just got back from a few days in Montana. The weather wasn’t great while I was there so I didn’t take many pictures. These are a couple of panoramics I made the last time I visited Montana. They are actually multiple shots from a Phase One back stitched together in Photoshop. The widest side is 15,000 pixles. That’s a pretty big file.
