
Rob Prideaux keeps trying to convince me to embrace the iPhone and accept it as another tool. I do find myself taking a lot of pictures I like that I otherwise wouldn’t have. I’m still not convinced… I still feel lazy. I’ll go with it for now. Here are some more Instagram shots.

As I’ve written here before, I’ve never been big on the iPhone photography apps out there. But I’ll have to admit Instagram has made me change my mind. It’s a fun photography app that not only has all the ultra-hip retro filters the kids seem to like these days but it adds a social component. It’s like a photo based Twitter. I’ve never been one of those people who like to take out their camera/cameraphone everywhere and snap pictures, but with Instagram I find myself doing it a lot more often (much to the dismay of certain people around me).

I’m thinking about reorganzing the galleries on my website and while I was going through the images I realized, I really like it when people aren’t looking at the camera. I know I usually ask people to look away, I just didn’t realize I did it so often:

Here is the first of the surfer shots I recently had scanned. As I mentioned in my skater post, I feel like it’s still a work in progress on the post production side (in fact as I’m uploading I already see a couple things I want to adjust). More surfers to come.
