I got a call to do an interesting shoot for M&C Saatchi. I was told the shoot would take place from 6pm to midnight at The Great Wall of Oakland. I would be photographing dancer Marquese Scott dancing down the side of the 115' wall. Obviously I couldn't say no to that.
Marquese is a known for his dance style that makes it seem as if he's defying gravity so the creatives at M&C Saatchi thought it would be a good idea to have Marquese actually defy gravity by dancing on the wall 115' in the air. It was a pretty amazing thing to watch considering Marquese was afraid of heights and had never done anything like this before.
