At some point this summer I noticed this rocket ship while on a run down the embarcadero in San Francisco. I've been running by it all summer and just about every time I've passed by it I've thought about how I'd like to take a picture of it. Last night on my run I took a quick shot with my iPhone and weather permitting I think I'll finally head back with a real camera this week.
I'm actually not even sure what the deal with this rocket ship is. There's a little plaque near it that I'm sure tells a story about its origins. I'll make sure to have that information with the real shot. Of course, I hope I don't end up liking the iPhone shot more than the real thing like can often happen with a Polaroid test shot.
And yes, I know... two iPhone shots in a row. What's the world coming to?
